These Terms and Conditions cover the products and service provided by Charisma Florists

 

1. Products and Service

1.1 All Charisma Florists products are subject to availability. In the event of any supply difficulties we reserve the right to substitute a formerly agreed ingredient or component within a design of equivalent value and quality without notice. This includes specific flowers/plants and sundries that may not be available.

1.2 Fresh flowers are a living products there can be some occasions that a particular flower may become unavailable, we do make every effort is made to source the product, sometimes we are unable to use the particular flower, in which case we reserve the right to use a similar flower in place of one previously chosen. All fresh flowers are subject to availability.
1.3 Colours of flowers will always be matched wherever possible to the colours discussed during appointments. Flowers are a natural product and colour variations may happen.

1.4 In the event that Charisma Florists is unable to supply product, service, or agree a substitute product or service to you at all, we shall notify you as soon as is reasonably possible and shall reimburse your payment in full.
 

2. Prices and Payment

2.1 Prices listed within your Charisma Florists quote will remain valid for 14 days from the date sent to you, to secure your date a booking fee of £50 is required. Prices will be secured for the event unless the ingredients or components for the intended final design of the product change significantly, then this will be discussed with you.
2.2 A booking fee is required upon confirmation of your wedding booking of £50. This is to be done via bank transfer, cash, or card. The booking fee basically covers the time we have spent with you so far and the time spent typing up your proposal and securing your date and will be deducted from your final balance.  
2.3 All booking fees are non-refundable, by accepting your quote you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.

2.4 Full payment for the product or service must be received prior to the event or service and no less than 2 weeks before the event or we will not go ahead with the event.

2.5 Hire item costs will be included in your quote, once we have delivered them to the venue they are your responsibility, and if any items are lost, damaged or broken we may invoice you to cover the cost of replacing the product, payment for these will be due within 14 days after the event.

2.6 We can move your ceremony arrangements between rooms at the same venue for a small charge. However, due to the logistical and strict timescales of moving flowers from churches to the reception venue, we may charge a minimal £100 fee for this. This is non-negotiable.
2.7 We order your flowers approx 7 days before your wedding date, after which no changes can be made to content and quantity.


3. Delivery

3.1 Charisma Florists charges for travel at a cost 50p per mile plus staff costs.

3.2 13. It is up to the Clients to provide correct locations for deliveries and agree on timings. We shall not take responsibility for lateness caused by an incorrect address.

3.3 The event commissioner’s flowers will be delivered or set up at a time prior agreed between Charisma Florists and you, the client. If for any reason we are not able to meet the delivery or set up time, the client will be notified as soon as feasibly possible.

3.4 It is up to the clients to ensure that the venue/church are open and to provide us with the correct contact details to help gain access.
3.5 Wedding Flowers shall be delivered to maximum of 4 addresses (Brides location, Grooms location, Wedding venue, Church)

 

4. Event set up

4.1 Charisma Florists accept no responsibility for any damage caused by flames or lit candles at an event once we have left the event set up. Whilst we provide candles and candle vessels, it is usually the caterer and/or venue staff that light them and we will not therefore be held accountable for any damage caused by them.

4.2 Charisma Florists accept no responsibility for failure to collect, wear or use any arrangements for specific use by the bridal party, i.e. buttonholes or bouquets, once they have been left by our team at the relevant and pre-agreed venue. Any oversight to correctly collect and, for example, pin on buttonholes on behalf of the wedding party as a whole, or by an individual, remains the responsibility of said wedding party and/or individual.
4.3 Items hired from us will be collected the following day with the cost to cover fuel. All items hired must be collected by us or returned. Alternatively you can drop the rental item off within 5 days after the wedding/event.  If not a replacement fee for the item will be charged.
4.4 Cake Flowers will be provided individually wired. We are happy to add these to the cake but take no responsibility for any damage to icing. This will always be discussed with the baker chosen.

4.5 We are not responsible for injuries or damages sustained as a result of broken glass or materials. Liability is limited to replacement of supplied goods and no responsibility will be accepted for any consequential loss.

 

5. Cancellation of the Charisma Florists products or service

5.1 Cancellation of the Charisma Florists product or service must be notified as soon as reasonably possible. Any deposit paid will be retained regardless of the circumstances of the cancellation. As per term 2.4, we must receive full payment 2 weeks before the event. If you cancel your event within this time, after we have received payment from you, we will be unable to offer a refund, and will retain the full amount. This is because it would be highly unlikely we would take another booking at such short notice, Consequently resulting in loss of work. Please see below for following timescales and refund amounts:

• 9 months or more before event date: Deposit retained, no further payment required

• 6-8 months before the event date: Deposit retained, and an admin fee of £150 required

• 3-5 months before the event date: Deposit retained and 25% of final amount payable

• Less that 3 months up to event date: Deposit retained, and 50% of final amount payable and admin fee of £100 required

 

6. Complaints about Charisma Florists products or service

6.1 In the unlikely event that you, the client is not satisfied with the product or service, any complaints should be addressed in the first instance, and within 1 working day of the delivery date to:

6.2 Because of the perishable nature of our products, you, the client, will be advised upon delivery how to store/care for your product and we ask that you fulfil this. Usually, the instructions will be to keep the product in a cool place, away from draft, heat or strong fumes and, if a bridal bouquet, to keep in its box in water until at least 30 minutes before use.

 

7. Social Media and the use of images of your flowers Charisma Florists will share photographs and details of the flowers, taken by us, on our website and social media profiles unless specifically asked by the couple to not. We will send you copies of the images we have taken, should you require them.

 

8. Disclaimer- Ill health, Acts of God or adverse weather conditions Whilst we agree to use our reasonable endeavours to ensure that the Charisma Florists service is fully operational and error-free we cannot guarantee this. Acts of God, sudden ill health and adverse weather conditions may affect our ability to deliver the Charisma Florists product or service. However, in cases of adverse weather we will remain in contact with the client in the lead up to the event and, if the event is out of season, we will discuss a contingency plan with the event commissioner. We have contingency plans for such occasions of sudden ill health. If Becca Horwood of Charisma Florists is unable to personally complete or deliver your event, then this will be completed by a member of our in-house team or outsourced accordingly.

Terms and Conditions may be updated at anytime. By paying your booking fee you are agreeing to any changes that may be made. These will always only be minor changes to wording. Any major changes that could effect you will be presented to you first.
